Traceability more than 100 years
In Yoshino, traceability in production, lumber processing, distribution and sales has already been established for more than 100 years.
When Yoshino logs are sold in the lumber market, the timber is proudly engraved with the stamp of the owner of each forest, making it clear from whose mountain they were harvested.
In Yoshino, Japan’s oldest man-made forest, which was planted about 300 years ago, remains today, creating a beautiful forest rich in biodiversity.
